‘Aku Pilih B’ A Song By Malaysians, For Malaysians To Embrace An Exciting New Cashless Future

Homegrown artistes Balan Kashmir, Zizi Kirana, Jeryl Lee and MK (K-Clique) banded together to record a brand-new song titled 'Aku Pilih B' and gave audiences a sneak peek of the official music video launch at Sunway Putra Mall today. The launch of the new song was held in conjunction with the announcement of the e-Tunai Rakyat government initiative by homegrown e-wallet Boost.

The collaboration between executive producer Sasi The Don and the four artistes with Boost was aimed at showcasing the choices Malaysians can make every day to live a more seamless and convenient cashless lifestyle.

Mohd Khairil Abdullah, CEO of Boost said, "We are excited to give the rakyat a little taste of what the near future will be like. In one song, we have four very talented artistes sharing one stage to perform in multiple languages. At Boost, we want to make going cashless as seamless as it is for Malaysians to understand the lyrics to 'Aku Pilih B' even with the language transition. Because after all, Malaysians have always been highly adaptive to new technology.”
 
"With passion and pride, 'Aku Pilih B' was conceptualized as an ode to the digital transformation the nation is presently going through. "It took us 7 days to write the lyrics, find the right melody, and produce the music video, which we're very proud of. Working with such talent has made it an extremely rewarding experience. Plus, to have the chance to work with an organisation that is pushing for positive change among Malaysians is a bonus," said Sasi the Don.

"As artistes, we're always looking to our fans to tell us what they want to hear. Nothing makes a bigger impact than a multilingual song like this, featuring artistes of different races. It showcases our unity and harmony as Malaysians and we wouldn't have it any other way," said Sasi, with Balan Kashmir, Zizi Kirana, Jeryl Lee and MK (K-Clique) echoing the same sentiments.

'Aku Pilih B' is produced and composed by Sasi The Don & D’Navigator, with lyrics by Altimet and Abby. The song and music video are now available on YouTube and across all Music streaming Platforms or listen out for 'Aku Pilih B' on local radio stations.
